Funded by the Town and Village of Webster, using a portion of the Cable Franchise Fee, WCA-TV is committed to providing the best possible Community TV to Webster residents. Free equipment and training is provided to ensure that WCA-TV programming remains: "By Webster residents - For Webster Residents."

Our 1999 Dodge Van is equipped with a compact setup for remote production,
using up to four Panasonic D-5000 Cameras, a Panasonic WJ-MX30 Switcher,
a Videonix TM-2000 Character Generator, and a Shure M-367 Mic Mixer.
We also loan Panasonic AG-456 S-VHS and Sony Mini DV Camcorders, and assorted Light Kits, tripods, and Microphones. to Webster Town and Village residents at no charge.
We are currently running our Daily Community Calendar
and Program Guide on a Dell Dimension Pentium III Computer using Microsoft
Powerpoint. We hope that whenever you're in the neighborhood, you'll stop

Mike is especially proud of the great strides in the quality of Community TV programs, and the many success stories of former volunteers and interns now gainfully employed in the Television and Cable industry. "We've got people who've moved on to Network Affiliates, Independent Stations, and Cable Networks," Mike boasts, "That really speaks to the experiences they recieved here."
Patricia Seiler has been a Registered Nurse for twenty years. She earned her B.S. in Nursing from Buffalo's D'Youville College and attended Graduate classes at Alfred College. After two decades of helping people regain their health, Patty has decided spend some of her time in service to Webster residents, here at Cable 12.John Fedkew has been a long-time volunteer here at Community Television. Currently working on his graduate degree, John's extensive experience as the volunteer producer/director of the weekly Immanuel Lutheran Church telecasts will assist in his expanding role at WCA-TV.
Sid O'Connor spent nearly 20 years in local industries before starting
a broadcast career. He got his first taste of communications while earning
his BA in administration from St. Bonaventure University. He never lost his
interest in Media, and has been working part-time at several area radio stations
and reading for Public "Reachout Radio". Now Sid will try to master another
medium here at WCA-TV.
Karen Buck is a Webster redident with substanial media experience.
While studying in New York, she worked at NBC's Today Show, and for The Rosie
O'Donnell Show, among others. She graces our Community TV staff, as she studies
for her Masters Degree.
Aaron St. James began at Cable 12 as an intern from Monroe Community
College. As he moves along in his studies, he will continue his "On the Job"
training working for you at your community channel.
