District Roundtable
The District Roundtable is scheduled for Monday, September 1st at 7:30 at
New Hope Presbyterian Church off of Highway 86 North.
Cub Scout Roundup
The Wednesday, September 3rd Cub Scout Roundup is our chance to get
acquainted. We'll take a moment to explain the Cub
Scout program and what Pack 835 is all about. We'll discuss activities,
uniforms and books, and try to answer any questions you may have. See you at the Estes Hills School Gymnasium at 7:00 PM.
Bridge Building
Our first full pack meeting is the September 17th
Bridge Building event at the Estes Hills School gym. It's a chance for the
new dens to get acquainted by working together as a team.
Each den is given cardboard, tape, and straws to build a bridge. Which is
then tested. The den whose bridge holds the most bricks wins.
Uniform Exchange
The Dan Beard District is sponsorong a uniform exchange on
September 20th at the South Hills Mall Community Room in Cary. From 2:00
PM to 3:30 PM you can sell or buy old uniforms. 70% of the selling price is
returned to the seller. The remainder goes to the Occoneechee Council.
