- Akela
- The adult Cub Scout partner.
- Bear
- A Cub Scout rank for boys who have completed second grade, or
who are nine years old.
- Bobcat
- A Cub Scout rank, earned by every new Cub by learning the Cub
Scout Law, Cub Scout Promise, Cub Scout Sign, etc.
- Council
- A collection of Cub Scout Districts. Our is the Orange District.
- Cub Master
- The adult Cub Scout pack leader. There is also an assistant position.
- Cub Scouting
- A program of organized activities for boys between the ages
of six and thirteen, and in grades 1 through 5. It is part of Boy Scouts
of America.
- Den
- A group of boys of the same age (usually no more than twelve)
who meet together on a regular basis to work on Cub Scout activities.
- Den Chief
- A Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, or Explorer Scout who is trained to
assist the Webelos Den Leader.
- Den Leader
- The adult leader of a Cub Scout den.
- Denner
- Webelos Scout elected by the other Scouts to assist the Webelos
Den Leader.
- District
- A collection of Cub Scout dens. Ours is the Orange District.
- Pack
- A group of dens who meet regularly (usually monthly) for
activities and recognition. Ours is Pack 835.
- Tiger Cub
- The Cub Scout rank for boys who have completed kindergarten or
are seven years old.
- Webelos
- "We be loyal scouts" The Cub Scout rank for boys who have
completed third grade or who are ten years old. It lasts through fifth
grade.
- Wolf
- The Cub Scout rank for boys who have completed first grade or
who are eight years old.
