TO RECORD:

1. Select the channel that you would like to record on the cable box. Put the VCR and TV on channel 3. Make sure that the TV/VCR or TV/VIDEO selector is in the VCR or VIDEO mode.

TO WATCH TV:

2. With this type of hookup, you will be watching whatever you are recording. If you are not recording and just would like to watch TV, turn off the VCR, put your TV on channel 3, and select the channel you would like to view at the box. All the channels that are available through the cable box can be recorded or viewed with this procedure.

TO VIEW A TAPE:

3. Place the tape in the VCR and make sure that the TV is set to channel 3. Put the TV/VCR or TV/VIDEO button in the VCR or VIDEO position ( many newer machines do this automatically when you press play).

note: 1. With the type of hookup, you must watch whatever you are recording.

note: 2. To connect a video game simply attach the games adapter to the VHF jack at the rear of the TV and connect the wire coming form the VCR(out)to the adapter.
