June 29, 1999: These pages are very old now, as can be seen from the date immediately below. Nothing more will be added to them, but I leave them on the Internet as testimony to what was lost when Prodigy made the decision to close down its original network, which became known as Prodigy Classic. If not for these stories - if not for the people on Prodigy who taught me to roleplay - and if not for the 1 MB of Internet space given to customers by Prodigy Classic for their personal web pages - I would not today be designing web pages for a living. So I bid Prodigy farewell with a heavy heart.

July 25, 1997: NEW FEATURE! If you get lost among the links, come back to this page (The Foyer) and then click here to go to the new Site Contents page. And PLEASE let me know if you have any difficulty getting around!

Here in the foyer, I greet you as you enter and ask you to come back and sign my guestbook after you have looked around. (Other links to the guestbook will be found randomly on other pages.) That done, we can walk into the Living Room, where my picture hangs on the wall, and you can get to know me and Marieke.

From there, if you turn to the right, you will see the door to the Den, where are some animations in honor of other roleplayers, and a link to the place where I have placed some downloadable wavs for your entertainment.

Just past the Den is the Library. RP archives reside here... as time passes, I add more and more to my journals, linking them with sites containing current information. Within the Library is the Reading Room, where I share with you some of my favorite short quotations as well as brief compositions of my own.

At the far end of the Living Room, opposite the Computer Room, is the door to the Music Room, where wavs of Marieke (and occasionally me) singing can be downloaded.

Through the Music Room is the door to the Artists' Studio, where there are numerous graphics links. If you are interested in creating your own web pages, be sure to check this room out.

If you turn left immediately inside the front door, and go down the hallway a short distance, there is Marieke's room, and beyond it, Marie's Boudoir, where insights into her personality can be found. If you are interested in Marie's ongoing story, additional links can be followed from the Boudoir.

The hallway turns right after Marie's doorway, and at the end of the hall, opposite the kitchen, is My Room. Current developments in my own story will be found here.

The Hot Tub, a place to get directions to the web sites of other roleplaying friends, is out on the deck.

In an out-of-the-way corner of the yard is the compost pile, where I throw my garbage.

You will need to go out the back door and into the mysterious dark to find a gateway leading to Daloki...

In time, other rooms within my home may be opened for visitors. For now, enjoy exploring, and thank you for coming to see me.

Love, Echo (and Aelu)
