Essex Steam Train and Riverboat

Near Old Saybrook, in Connecticut, a steam passenger train makes a picturesque trip along the Connecticut River.  You board the train at Essex and ride to Deep River Landing to meet the boat.   The boat takes you upriver to East Haddam, where it turns at the Goodspeed Opera House and returns home.
