The Museums-Eisenbahn runs an historic old "train" over a scenic route in rural countryside near Osnabrück, Germany. It runs on weekends from May to October over a route that is about twenty miles long.
The train is a self-propelled two-car unit, shown here in its parking
place at Bohmte where it is stored when not in use.
Here's another view of the train at Bohmte.
The view inside of cab. It shows the controls. I took this picture while hanging on the outside of the cab with one hand and the camera with the other. The engineer sits here.
The lead car, taken on another day. I never had the opportunity to
ride the train or to get inside.
The parked cars are seen in the distance in this view.
At the Bohmte station, auf dem Bahnhof Bohmte.
