Historic Train in Germany

The Museums-Eisenbahn runs an historic old "train" over a scenic route in rural countryside near Osnabrück, Germany.   It runs on weekends from May to October over a route that is about twenty miles long.

The train is a self-propelled two-car unit, shown here in its parking place at Bohmte where it is stored when not in use.

The view inside of cab.  It shows the controls.  I took this picture while hanging on the outside of the cab with one hand and the camera with the other.  The engineer sits here.
