Circa...1950...A classic picture of Ray's Diner, on Union Ave. near Plank Road in Altoona, Pa.
May 6,1954...Bollinger's Esso Servicecenter on 4th. Str. and Chestnut Ave. looking north, in Altoona, Pa.
1960's......Country Garden Market on 6th. Ave. road.(Bananas were 8 cents a pound and lettuce was 25 cents a head.)
Feb. 29, 1956...D and D Beer Distributer at 628-Pleasant Valley Boulevard.
Taylor's Restaurant...Pleasant Valley Blvd. and Union Ave.
July , 1956...Tom and Joe's Restaurant on the corner of 13th Ave. and 12th Str.,across from the Penn Alto Hotel.(You can still walk into the place today,order up your favorite meal , and play a song from one of the mini-jukeboxes on the wall.)

Later on it was Inghrams Store, and now it is home of Peppino's Pizza.(#)
