Dec. 20,1956...11th. Ave. between 15th. and 16th. Streets with Stover's Restaurant, The Altoona Leather Store, The New Idea Store, and Wolf's Furniture Store on the corner.(#561223)
Oct. 29,1948...The intersection of 7th.Ave. and 7th. Str. looking east.Masterson's Drug Store is on the left, which is the present-day site of The Uniform Gallery. On the right is Don's Esso Station.(#481029)

Circa...1946....Meet "Thor", he was a regular at the United Cigar Store at 11th Ave. and 12th Str.
(He used to go downtown by taking the trolley, from the Fairview section of Altoona. Seriously.)
