Brother Henry Clark, Sr., son of Jack Clark and Rachel N. Clark-Williams, was born in Rayville, La on April 21, 1921. He later moved to Sterlington Louisiana where he was guided into manhood by Rachel N. Clark-Williams and Davis Williams (Big Poppa).
On Friday, January 9, 1998 he departed this life.
Brother Clark united with the Mt. Sinai Church under the late Rev. E.S. Johnson in 1932 where he served as church school teacher for class number four. He also served as the chairperson of the Administrative Board, the Worshipful Master of True blue Lodge Number 146 and Scoutmaster for troop 69.
On February 10, 1946, he married the late Sister Lela H. Clark. To their union they added twelve children; five which preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory seven children: Mrs. Dorothy Bledsoe of Los Angelses, Ca, Mr. Mose Howard of Detroit, MI, Mr. Albert Howard of Long Beach, Ca., Mr. Joe Howard of Sterlington, La., Reverend Davis Clark of Sterlington, La, four brothers: Mr. J.W. Clark and Mr. Allen Clark of Monroe, La., Mr. Harvey L. Allen of Gardenia, Ca., and Mr. General L. Williams, Sr. of Sterlington, La; four sisters Miss Annie R. Williams of Sterlington, La., Mrs. Bonnie S. Benson of Marion, La, Miss Verdia M. Williams of Shreveport, La, and Mrs. Mary P. Benson of Sterlington, La.

of Hester Central State Funeral Home of Monroe, La.

Luella Nelson Williams was born on December 25, 1900 in Downsville,
LA to the late Mr. & Mrs. Pinkie Jones.
She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour at an early age
in Downville, La. She moved to Bosco, LA in the early 1950Æs and
united with the Logtown Baptist Church under the leadership of the late
Rev. Harvey S. Staten. She later moved to East Chicago, IL. and united
with the Salvation Center Church of God In Christ under the leadership
of Pastor Emmanuel John, there she remain until her demise.
She was united in holy matrimony to Tillman Williams, to this
union seven children were born. Her husband, Tillman and two of their children
preceded her in death.
She departed this life on Thursday, January 8, 1998 at her home
in East Chicago, IL., after a lengthy illness.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Six daughters:
Ora Lee Willis, Pearline Moran, Louise (Roosevelt) Willis of Monroe, La.,
Della (Johnny) Mosley, East Chicago, Il., Esther Carprue and Rosie Butler
of Milwaukee, WI.; Three sons: Adell Williams, East Chicago, Il., Lewis
Tillman Williams, Hammond, IL. and H. T. (Nellie) Johnson of West Monroe,
LA.; One niece: Beulah McCoy of Houston, Texas; Fifty-nine (59) grandchildren
and a host of great grands, great great grandchildren, friends and love
ones.
