Like many families, ours has a tradition of Native American roots. I have found this search to be one of the most difficult yet. :) However, it has also
been the most fascinating for me. We are Cherokee and Blackfoot as well as English and a little bit of Irish, although it is the Cherokee that I have spent most of my time
researching.

CHEROKEE BLESSING
May the warm winds of Heaven
blow softly on your home,And the Great Spirit
bless all whoenter there.May your moccasins make happy tracksin many snows. And may the rainbow always touch your shoulder.

I picked the Jemez Storyteller for the webring graphic for a couple of reasons...1) I grew up in New Mexico and have a fondness for southwestern Native American art (and food!) and, 2) genealogy is an always unfolding story of our ancestors, so it just seemed appropriate. I collect and, therefore, have many storyteller figurines of various sizes all over my house. The pedigree chart needs no explanation.
