Owen, Minnie and Fanny are listed on the 1870 Federal Census for Cheney's Grove, Illinois. It looks like they were living on Owen's father's farm. Owen, 21, had a personal estate valued at $700.00.

In the 1880 Federal Census, it looks like Owen had a different wife. The name, (practically unreadable) was not Minnie.
