Notes:
Wesley Garrard was an only child.
Wesley was a merchant in Marysville, Ohio. He went into business in 1858 and the store was widely known as the Buck-horn Store, by the sign of the horns over the door. The stock consisted of groceries, hardware and notions in fact any article not to be found elsewhere, from a wooden toothpick to an anvil.
Mr. Garrard was elected Justice of the Peace several terms, and Mayor of Marysville for six years. He served on the School Board and as a School Trustee.
