Joseph lived in Boston as early as 1658, when he was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Co. He was made a freeman in 1665. Joseph was a founder of the Old South Church in Boston, MA.
Joseph's will was dated 29 Nov 1710 and was proved 5 Dec 1712. Joseph had somewhere between 12 and 15 children! He had 4 children by Ruth Williams, one by Lydia Ingalls, and at least seven by Hannah.
