Additional Information
Fredrick "Fred" Gibson:
Notes:
The 1920 Federal Census listed Fred on sheet 16b, line 51 of the Tucson, Pima County, Arizona enumeration. He was living in his own home with Elsie. Interestingly, he listed his occupation as none.
However, Fred was an internationally known botanist. He was the creator and director of the Boyce Thompson Southwest Arboretum in Superior, Arizona. The arboretum is now part of the University of Arizona campus.
Elsie Mable Polson:
Notes:
Elsie married Fred Gibson. They moved to Superior, Arizona.
Elsie was gentle and religious, and her sisters were especially fond of her. She died young, 42, had one daughter who had four children. Most of Elsie's descendants are in the Colorado area.
