George served in the U.S. Army. He was a heavy equipment (crane) operator. He helped build the San Francisco Golden Gate and Bay Bridges.
George lived all of his married life in the Bay area. He had one daughter, who in turn had four children.

Allie suffered a stroke while in her car behind City hall in Burlingame. She was in her car for 14 hours before being found by City Workers. She was reported in satisfactory condition at the Peninsula Hospital after the ordeal.
