I hope to be able to include and extend the bibliographies collect by others (such as Nicholas Hellmuth's on different Maya subjects). The idea is to have a specific hyperlinked bibliography for each topic covered in this pages, with extensions and annotations so it could be used as a tool for further reading and research. I was very fortunate to be able to attend some of Karl Taube's seminars at the University of California - Riverside and other locations, and I found his reading lists to be extremely useful.

It was originally assembled from lists gleaned from the Summer Institute of Linguistics resources page and another site in Mexico, and has been revised periodically. As I discover new links, I'm trying to assemble the most useful for the specific areas of research interest, and let this list take its shape as it will (or rather, hasn't).
Online Books doesn't even qualify as "half-baked"- it's really a sloppy aggregation of links. If you're into idle browsing, you might want to download my entire bookmark list (circa March 1996) and do some exploring on your own.
