Data Center Documentation
There are many reasons for documenting your Data Center. An "as is" drawing is the appropriate
starting place when new equipment is required. A floor plan is helpful when discussing Data
Center operations, and can be the key to identifying problems with hot spots or work flow
inefficiencies. Distances for new power drops can be measured from the drawing. We utilize
AutoCAD for our documentation tool, and can produce drawings from A to E size in
