THE BOB MCPHERSON LATE MODEL MUSTANG PAGE

This page features a few "fox" bodied Mustangs. Ford used the fox platform for the Mustang from 1979 to 1993, a relatively long period from an automotive production standpoint. This benefits the consumer, who is able to choose from a vast source of parts for interchange.

Note that other vehicles were built on the fox platform, consisting of Ford and Mercury products. A few to mention are the Ford Granada, Ford Thunderbird, and Mercury Capri.


This is my daily driver. The 1982 Mustang GT was the first of the late model GT Mustangs. Ford advertised "The Boss is Back". This one is optioned with the deluxe interior with Recaro seats.

Here is a nice example of a 1984 Mustang GT. All of the manual 84's came with the new Borg Warner T5 5-speed. It was owned by one of my friends, Chris.
