HP48G FILES

I have a few interesting files for the Hewlett Packard 48G series calculators. These are *.zip files which require pkunzip or WINZIP to extract. Also, I have included hp48cabl.txt, which is a file that gives information on making a PC to HP48 interface cable. This cable is necessary to download the packages to your calculator. You can use the Terminal program in Windows (under Accessories) with binary transfer.

EngineCR is a Windows program that I wrote for engine builders out there. It uses information such as bore, stroke, cylinder head volume, piston shape, deck clearance, and gasket design to accurately calculate an engine's static compression ratio.

I have a few FORTRAN PROGRAMS for different calculations such as root finding, "curve" fitting, solving systems of linear equations by matrix reduction, and solving differential equations. The quadratic formula, Newton-Raphson method, Least Squares linear fit, Gauss-Jordon Elimination, and fourth order Runge Kutta method are coded in these programs.

patriot.gif shows a patriot missile during launch. The Patriot played an important role as a defensive strategy during the Gulf War. It was the world's first successful antimissile missile. waterfal.gif is a simple example of computer art. This "painting" was created using Windows Paintbrush and a little imagination.
